By Word of Mouth Catering was founded by chef Lee Martin in 2006. Since that time, we have evolved into a respected catering company providing catering services to the Perth business and residential communities. Our catering company has earned this respect by providing a consistent level of creative and professional food service and delivery, on–time, on–budget and most importantly, to each client's ultimate satisfaction.

Lee Martin – Executive Chef/Director

Originally from England, Lee has been a professional chef for over 25 years. After completing his training, Lee received The City and Guilds qualification in 1988 before continuing to gain extensive experience in London. During his time in the UK Lee's career centered around catering for a number of large VIP functions with up to 1000 guests. Lee was also privileged enough to cook for members of the Royal Family and Members of Parliament (including the Prime Minister).

Since arriving in Australia 18 years ago, Lee has worked in 5 star resorts, providing cooking classes, demonstrations and catering for large events. He has been Head Chef in some of Perth's top restaurants, before starting By Word of Mouth Catering in 2006.

Felicity Martin – Front Office and Function Manager

Felicity gained her Diploma in Hospitality and Hotel Management at the Blue Mountains College in NSW. After travelling to Europe to gain experience in some the best hotels, including The Savoy Hotel and The Ritz in London. Felicity returned to Perth and worked at a number of restaurants around Perth.

Felicity has a love for the catering and hospitality industry and has brought her passion and expertise to By Word of Mouth Catering in Perth.

Tristan Fair – Head Chef

Tristan has worked in a number of restaurants on the East Coast and in Perth during his career. He brought his experience and enthusiasm to By Word of Mouth Catering, since starting with us in Perth 5 years ago.

Jo Blackburne – Chef de Partie

After being employed in some of Perth's fine dining restaurants, Jo has been with By Word of Mouth Catering in Perth for a year and a half. Jo has a great focus on fresh produce and creativity which she brings to our team.

Selly Kirana – Chef de Partie

Originally from Indonesia, Selly has been with By Word of Mouth Catering in Perth for 5 years, bringing with her a massive Asian influence and experience. Selly enjoys the diverse style catering has to offer, and the different challenges that catering brings.

Paola Crevatore – Chef

Paola has worked with By Word of Mouth Catering in Perth for one and a half years and has a great level of experience in functions and food preparation.

Jackson Kirana – Chef

Jackson has been with By Word of Mouth Catering in Perth for 3 years. He understands every aspect of his job and enjoys delivering food, cooking and serving to guests alike.

Trish Ford – Accounts and Bookkeeping

Trish has been working with By Word of Mouth Catering in Perth since 2006. Trish has extensive experience in this field and looks after the book keeping, accounts payable and receivable. Trish also helps in the office with quotes and enquiries.

Margaret Nevin – Front Office and Floor Supervisor

Margaret has worked extensively in Ireland in a number of hotels, organising large functions, supervising the front office and dealing with corporate VIP clients. Margaret has been with By Word of Mouth Catering in Perth for 14 months and is an asset to us and your event.
